HANDS-ON FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY MOST SATURDAYS AND NOW DURING THE WEEK, TOO!

We've got plenty to keep young guests (and older guests) involved, intrigued and interested in many different topics. Read on to see what's happening at your Museum!

Curious Kids' Museum is pleased to offer a wide array of educational and entertaining events for the whole family on most Saturdays and during the week, too! Professional storytellers, magicians, puppeteers, clowns, musicians and live animal presentations all provide hours of entertainment for CKM guests. Live animal visits including everything from sled dogs to lizards also allow guests to learn about the animal kingdom hands-on. These programs are available through grants provided by Tiscornia Foundation, The Friedman Foundation and The Frederick S. Upton Foundation and The Warren and Lou Gast Charitable Foundation Trust.

Family Programming events at Curious Kids' Museum are free or have a minimal charge for materials with paid admission or membership. Events are subject to change and registration for some programs is suggested. Please call the Museum to confirm dates and times, and for additional information.

FREE HANDS-ON FUN DURING THE WEEK BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 21!!

Wee discover every Wednesday at 10:30 AM for Preschoolers. Based on the concepts of "Mother Goose Science" for young children. Wee Discover helps children discover the world around them by linking reading {a story a week} with hands on learning play experiences about theme. Children exercise body motion, hand-eye coordination and grasp the many ways things in the world around us really work by experiencing them. Parents enjoy sharing this experience with their children and meeting other parents. Wee Discover is taught by experienced pre-school teacher Karen Brininstool, who has taught at CKM for many years.

NEW Thursday’s Theatrical Storytelling at 10:30 AM. This fun new Pre-school workshop will last approximately 10-15 minutes. Your children will squeal with delight as participants are asked to be ready to perform short sketches for parents and friends. Complete with costumes, the children will explore their imaginations, learn how to communicate ideas, and discover self-confidence, motor skills, rhythm and creative movements as they express themselves.

Friday Animals Alive Day 1:00 PM Children and adults are fascinated with animals and are often highly motivated to explore and learn as much as they can about them. Friday Animal Days will focus on one particular interesting animal a week. Presentations and Discussions will allow the children the opportunity to observe the animals close up.

*Activities and animals subject to change upon availability

*Programs are funded through grants from the Tiscornia Foundation, The Friedman Foundation and The Frederick S. Upton Foundation and The Warren and Lou Gast Charitable Foundation Trust. Events are subject to change without advance notice.
