CEMETERIES
Mason Township has two cemeteries that were established in the early 1800's. KESSINGTON CEMETERY is located on Kessington Road, just north of U.S. 12. The original section to the West has been expanded to the East side of the road. FIVE POINTS CEMETERY is located on U.S. 12, just West of the Five Points Intersection, with an entrance off U.S. 12.

SCHOOL SYSTEMS - in the Township
Mason Township is served by three different school districts. One is in Cass County & the other two are in St. Joseph County, Michigan. There are no schools operating in the Township at the present time.
Southwestern Michigan College, Dowagiac, offers a scholarship of $500 to a Mason Township resident each year. Forms are available at the Township Hall each spring.
