Our EMU eggs are fascinating in size shape, texture, and color.  Our eggs are generally 5 - 6 inches tall.  Their color is a speckled green and black as shown in the photo.  They have a texture as if each of the dots of color was an independent speck of egg shell.  We make a hole in the bottom of the eggs and drain the contents.

We think you'll find dozens of craft uses for these eggs.  They are also great as an educational item for the classroom.  Lastly, we think they're rather fun to just have around - we like to hold them and look them over - a wonder of nature!
